Who Was Taken

Khadijah Rose Britton — known to loved ones as "Dij" — was born April 22, 1994. She was a 23-year-old member of the Round Valley Indian Tribes, remembered as a former star athlete and a daughter, sister, and friend whose absence has left a hole her community still hasn't been able to fill.

When & Where

On the night of February 7–8, 2018, Khadijah was in Covelo, California — a small tribal community in Mendocino County — when she was forcibly taken at gunpoint by her ex-boyfriend. She hasn't been seen since. Her family filed a missing person report on February 10, 2018.
